Amanda earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She provides compassionate, client-centered care for children, teens, and adults, integrating attachment-based approaches and DBT-informed strategies. When working with children, Amanda uses Synergetic Play Therapy, a developmentally attuned, child-centered model that incorporates neuroscience and attachment to support emotional regulation and healing.
Amanda is a member of SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted) and has a strong understanding of asynchronous development. She enjoys incorporating expressive arts to foster self-expression, personal growth, and meaningful connection. As a former military spouse, Amanda is especially passionate about helping clients and families navigate adjustment-related stressors, transitions, and change.
Amanda specializes in working with ADHD, anxiety, and self-esteem concerns and is LGBTQ+ affirming. She has experience supporting children and families navigating high-conflict divorce, including collaboration with Guardians ad Litem and court-related matters.
