Annie Ortiz, MA

Annie earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and has experience working with adolescents (14+) and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, familial trauma, women’s issues, and eating disorders (specifically anorexia). She utilizes several therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Central to her approach is the establishment of a welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. She believes that creating a safe and nurturing space is crucial for healing and personal growth. Her goal is to empower clients to explore their emotions, tackle obstacles, and begin a journey towards wellness. She is deeply passionate about assisting individuals in overcoming their challenges and reclaiming control over their lives. Annie is under the supervision of Carolyn Metheny, LPC, CPCS.
