Max Richard, MA, LPC, Ncc

  Max is a Nationally Board Certified Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. Retiring in 2018, he served 25 years in the U.S. Army. Max focuses on challenges resulting from trauma in individuals of all ages. Through a mix of relational neurobiology, attachment theory, and person-centered theory he aims to assist children, adolescents, and adults in bringing transformational change to their problematic behaviors. Max has specific training in trauma, high conflict divorce, reunification, Co-parenting Coordination, and play therapy with certifications in Synergetic Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Reunification Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB).
