Alice Gay Tranum, Ed. S., LPC, NCC

Gay is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Nationally Certified School Counselor. She has 30 years of experience working with elementary-age children in the school setting. She has had her LPC credentials since 2003. She utilizes CBT, Play-based Interventions, and Behavior Therapy. Gay believes that therapy can help children explore their feelings in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. Through talking, playing, bibliotherapy, art, and more… Children can learn healthy ways of coping and expressing themselves. Often in therapy, children will develop an increased self-awareness and self-esteem as they begin to feel understood and empowered. Our desired goal!
